1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible
Walt & Eileen Stiles

Added to the Stiles family in 2008, this second generation (C2) Corvette sports the “Big Block” 427 cu in (7.0 L) engine that produces 390HP.

Since the second generation Corvettes are actually smaller than the first generation,  the range of engines available put the HP to weight ratio for this series of ‘vettes right up there with the best performance cars found anywhere in the world.

Typical of all Corvettes from this era, Walt and Eileen’s Marboro Maroon example was produced in St Louis, MO.    This all original Sting Ray boasts power steering, power brakes, air conditioning and the 2 speed Prowerglide auto transmission.

When asked what he likes best about his ride, Walt simply smiles and says “everything”!

Walt and Eileen have lived in the Sutherland neighborhood since 2003.
They joined the Kar Klub in 2007
